Steering alignment off by 15 deg.

Hey gang, anyone know what might cause my steering wheel to lose alignment after hitting a mild obstacle? This has happened 3 times and the toe was always fine. All I would do is adjust my drag link by 2 full rotations and this were perfect and straight again. (it has happened where I have had to adjust in, then out, and now recently back in). Checked threads and nothing shows evidence of thread wear/breakage, all bolts meet torque spec, ball joints are fine, thrust angle good, caster is good.
