You didnt do anything wrong, with out an adjustable track bar or a trackbar relocation bracket thats what ends up happening.Okay, where did I go wrong? Installed teraflex level kit, followed all the directions, but my axle is now skewed half an inch to the driver side. Anything I can do to fix before I buy a new track bar?
Damn. Was hoping the 1.5 spacer would be small enough to not make a noticeable difference on that. Noticed it this afternoon and took a tape measure to the coil towers to confirm. Thanks! You didnt do anything wrong, with out an adjustable track bar or a trackbar relocation bracket thats what ends up happening.
Yeah I sorta shot myself in the foot but I’ll likely go with Clayton or Metalcloak down the line. I’ll buy one or the others trackbar and sell the one I get with either lift. Good advice though, slight oversight but was really hoping 1.5 would need a track barBefore you buy a trackbar make sure you like your ride and ride height. If you decide later that you want a lift kit most will come with one.
Just did a 2 inch spacer lift. Now I know what many people are talking about when torquing the control arm hardware. It was a pain in the ass with the truck on the ground.Depending on how you measured, it likely only needs to move 1/4".
Also - did you loosen all control arms bolts and both ends of the track bar, then retorque with the truck on the ground when you were done?
