I searched and even posted about this but got no replies so wanted to share my experience. I bought my JT off the lot that had 90% of what I wanted (missing aux switches and tonneau). I had the dealer install the aux switches and I bought the soft tri fold tonneau as it's all they had in stock. Seeing that no cover came from the factory none of the holes behind the back seats had threads. It was a pain in the you know what you install the rivnuts in the top but I got it. Now fast forward a couple months, I wasn't digging the fact that 1/3 of the bed stayed covered and I wanted the kb voodoo rails so I ordered the soft rolling tonneau.

Now the fun part, this one mounts in the lower hole position and has a piece that just goes through the upper hole. I had to remove the rivnuts from the top (octagon) holes and then install M8 rivnuts in the lower hole. To remove the top rivnuts I was table to shave away/fold over with needle nose pliers and then punch it through.

Problem #2, the bottom holes were too small for an M8 rivnut as documented in other posts. I wanted to use the factory M8 bolts (versus buying M6) so I used a stepping bit to slightly enlarge the hole, used M8 rivnuts and factory bolts and then the rest of the install was easy.

Just a heads up for anyone who wants to switch them out!
