One of my earliest memories is sitting in the back of a Willy’s Jeep in 1961 with my 4 siblings. I thought the vehicle was huge!! Shortly thereafter I recall we took a trip to the local market, riding in the back, no seatbelts, no windows or doors. Life was good.
For some reason, I always looked at Jeeps longingly, but never pulled the trigger. Skip forward to late 2019, I recall the CJDR dealership a block from my office displaying the new Jeep Gladiator in front of the showroom. I fell in love...but I wasn’t in a position to do anything about it....till now. I decided a few weeks ago that it was new vehicle time...my 2007 Dodge Dakota in excellent mechanical condition...but Ohio Salt showing it’s destructive power. My darling wife insisted we have a truck in the family, and my silver tongue went to work....how about a Jeep Truck? Voila! Today is our 46th Anniversary, and we are are celebrating our 4-dayversary with our 2021 Snazzberry Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. I’m glad I waited until Jeep came out with the vehicle I couldn’t resist.
