So I am in the process of hooking up an amp and sub to go along with my 7" non alpine stuff. I have some aftermarket 3.5 in the upper dash, but that is all.
Are there any certain settings I can do on the factory headunit to get the best sound now that I have added an amp and sub? Currently I believe my settings are the Balance is all centered. The Eq is like Highs turned up a good 5 to 6 notches. The mids turned up about 4 to 5, and the bass is turned up about 3 notches.
I still need to also figure out where to set the amp gain, freq cutoff, and all those settings on the amp itself. Any help would be appreciated.
