So I have been trying to research, and want to just add an amp and sub that I have in addition to the alpine setup. I had it in my 2020 base system, and it was as each as just getting a line out convertor for RCA cables that tapped into the passenger side B pillar.

I know ive heard the alpine isnt that easy, but those ive seen that have did this are on pre 24/25. Is there some way to be able to do this and get sound signal without buying the 450$ PAC AmpPro setup? I think thats a bit much just to do what im wanting.

Also, not sure if it matters or not, but my amp has the option for both high level input and low level input.

You NEED the Pac AmpPro (can't attest to other brands) because radios now more than ever filter out frequencies to attempt providing the most "full" sound they can with the garbage they make the speakers out of.
- Ever turn the bass up then raise the volume again? Notice how the vocals get really quiet when the bass hits and the highs get silly loud? That's the radio not providing a FLAT output.

The PAC will sum these levels and provide a flat output for your amps. This will help prevent "clipping" or overpowering a bad signal to your speakers and destroying them. Is it an added expense? Yes. Will it be worth it? 100%

Also the "r2" of the PAC fixes the issue the factory radio has when not using oem speakers/load, as it expects a certain "load" on the radio amp, and when it doesn't "see" that load, it shuts off that channel. LOCs don't correct this more often than not, and those that do...don't provide that flat output you NEED to prevent damage.

Plus it doubles as a mild EQ/DSP if you will. It also means you don't need to cut wires as it's plug and play.
