For those apprehensive about doing this (like I was) I ended up going with 70% Xpel Prime XR Plus which is their highest end ceramic to protect my dash and stop the heat. Not one person that I have had inside or outside has been able to tell my windshield is tinted. I have to tell them every time.
It's just enough to take the edge off the sun while driving during day and at night prevents your retinas from being burnt out by others headlights while still being able to see in the dark. I personally think it's a perfect balance.
