So I got these for $280 last year and the brackets and nuts are already rusting pretty bad. The steps themselves have a lot chips in the powder coating but that ls my fault for running wider tires so I'm gonna touch them up but the brackets and the bolts are my bigger concern. Do you think I should just let it be or try to replace the hardware with better grade stuff? It would be a PIA to remove the whole thing because you have to take 2 x 4 bolts 4 brackets off per step just to get to the 4 brackets that bolt to the pinch weld. I thought about trying to remove the whole thing by just removing the 8 pinch weld bolts and 4 under body bolts but their dosnt seem to be much room between the bolts and the step so I thought of using a wrench but I forgot how long the bolts are. It looks like I might have a 1.5" between the bolts and the steps.
