Here’s the problem I had with one STT Pro back in 2021. It took more than 6 ox to balance and kept needing to be rebalanced. Caused wobbling in my steering wheel. Soon after this pic it was replaced under warranty for beng out of round. Otherwise I loved these tires. Good sidewall flex, tough as hell, and look mean as hell too.
The other issue I was having after that was the tires still giving me some slight vibrations at certain speeds. I thought maybe I was crazy so I made some marks with a paint pen. Aired down to go wheel (10-12 psi) then checked them later once I was home.
I guess this was enough to slightly throw off the balance. Pretty sure they continued to move slightly more around the wheel after this, but I didn’t take pics. FWIW these were Method bead grip wheels and I loved them. No issues down to 7 psi. Can’t really fault them for this tire clocking issue.
