I have a Diamondback cover inbound and had ordered a Teraflex rail. When ordering the Diamondback, I told them I had a Trail Rail so I suspect they’re sending those parts.

Anyway, the Teraflex is on major backorder until about end of month (Cancelled the order) and since I ordered it before 1 September, feel it’s far too long so now pivoting to either a proper Mopar Trail rail or alternative that might be gotten faster.

Any advice here? Thanks!

I was also on this path but the Teraflex is still on backorder. I'm thinking about getting the Diamondback cover that doesn't require a bedrail. Do you think the Diamondback is more secure with our without the bedrail?

It's inbound so I've not even seen the DB yet so really can't offer an opinion. I will say that the factory guy I've been in touch with didn't see a bit fazed with either approach. It seems logical it would be more sound using the existing bed rail, not the trail rail since it's mounted with screws. But, I only play an Engineer on TV so there's that.

I’d just get the Mopar rails. They’re a good design and easily attainable. My Diamondback works perfect with my Mopar rails ??
