Selling the Mopar lockable storage bin. I’ve read on here that it can be re-keyed but I am unsure of the cost or work involved in doing that. Near Charlotte, NC for local pickup or can meet within reason. $500 obo.

If anyone has advice on how to re-key, I would love to learn! I have one to re-key. Went to two dealers and they said “nope, we can’t do that”. Of course I’m not impressed that those service departments are very bright.

I’ll have to do some digging when I get a moment into the lock change... my dealership also told me I’d need a new drive shaft with ANY lift on my wrangler. ??‍ They’re about as smart as the parts they sell.

You need to get new tumblers and find you a reputable lock smith. Dealership won't do it. I had mine done for the cost of tumblers and I think $60 for the Locksmith.
