Hi All,
I am new to the Gladiator club and was wondering do I wax over the decals on my hood?
My hood is mostly decal and do not want to mess them up.
Thx,
BQ

I use spray wax on all decals to protect them from fading. I've also used paste wax over deals in the past, but you will have to use a soft bristle brush to remove wax residue against the letters

Absolutely, go for it. I have added numerous decals to every vehicle I've owned and always waxed the cars as if the decals didn't exist. I once owned an 03 Corvette Pace Car, full of decals, and waxed it a million times over the 13 years I owned it, and they still looked fantastic when I sold it. There used to be an old myth that wax would deteriorate vinyl decals, and maybe so, 50 years ago, but I can guarantee you wax only serves to preserve them today. Happy motoring in your waxed Gladiator!
