Just finished changing over to LED headlights, fog lights, and fender lights
I had the LED headlight and foglight bulbs in for about a week, and had no issues with warning lights nor did I have to make any changes with my Taser.
When I put the new flares on yesterday, I got the hyperflash and the "side marker out" warning. I went in my Taser and changed the side marker setting to LED. After another vehicle power cycle, everything was back to normal. However it came back on the way to the gym this morning, but then went away by the time I took my son to practice
I did some testing, and found it only has an issue when the headlights are on. Headlights off? No warning, no hyperflash
Is this weird or is this expected behavior? I ordered the resistors recommended by my fender manufacturer, but i'm wondering if I can clean this up with the Taser before they get here
Anyone experienced this before?
