What is everyone using to deflate / inflate their tires?

Keep in mind that the 12v lighter socket and the trailer plug are both designed for low current applications. The wiring is going to be light, and pulling a lot of current through it is not a great idea. My experience with a variety of lighter socket type compressors is that they are very slow, and tend to heat up a great deal after just one tire. Perhaps they are made better these days, but even an inexpensive unit that takes power with heavy leads right off the battery is a world better.

True story- even a lot of the compressors with terminal clamps, those wires get warm..

Dirt lifestyle on YouTube just did a video a month or so ago about upgrades to portable air compressors that hits this issue and a couple others. ??? I thought it was pretty good!
