Which one to order/buy?

I did seriously consider the 392 Wrangler when it came out. It’s such a crazy unicorn piece, and as cafecito points out above, the Scat Pack motor is a smooth, torquey frickin beast. The Mojave is still worth a stupid amount, well more than I paid for it, so the trade would be easy financially. But in the end, I just didn’t want to give the Mojave up, even for the 392. It’s just too good.

I ordered my R/T in mid-2018. It was model year change and it took three months to get it built and delivered. Worth the wait. Went old school as it was the last year for the Classic package with polished wheels and stripe. I always liked the 1970 dark green metallic (aka F8 green) with white stripe. Had a Mopar insider run the production numbers for me a couple of years ago. Turns out that this is one of four built for 2019 model year. It's safe to say that this one isn't leaving my garage.

Although the "baby" Hemi by today's standards, it's got decent juice when provoked!

2023 is the last model year for this Challenger.

Several reasons starting with a fifteen year old model design and non-EPA friendly thirsty powertrains. The times they are a-changin'.

Even though the Challenger outsold the Mustang for the first time ever in 2021 (54,314 Challengers - 52,414 Mustangs) and blew out Camaro sales (21,893) the move to total electrification/hybrid units by Stellantis has not been a secret.

There will be a new breed of so called "muscle cars" in the not so distant future that will involve small displacements, turbo chargers and batteries. Many batteries. ???????????

Thanks Ron! I sold two other vehicles, a 2017 BRZ and a 2010 FJ, took advantage of the crazy used car values these days, to get into this thing. Glad I did! It‘s a lot of fun! I’ve wanted a Challenger since they came out. Figured I’d better go ahead or miss the boat altogether.

Thanks Ron! I sold two other vehicles, a 2017 BRZ and a 2010 FJ, took advantage of the crazy used car values these days, to get into this thing. Glad I did! It‘s a lot of fun! I’ve wanted a Challenger since they came out. Figured I’d better go ahead or miss the boat altogether.

I did the same to get into my new JTM. Traded in a Ram that I owned for two and a half years. They gave me 4K more than I paid for it. Couldn't pass it up.

Ha did look at Bronco but they are way too expensive and cant really tow anything.

Bronco has the same issues as a Wrangler. Car like towing capabilities and less than car like cargo space.
