Windshield replacement help Fresno

Hey group im on a 2k mile road trip and within 2hrs I caught a rock just under the ACC sensor. I attempted to fix it with the repair kits they sell. Worked for a few hundred miles until I arrived on the surface of the sun(Fresno) then it began spreading. Stopped by a shop to ask about a repair/replacement and they declined because they could not recalibrate the system due to my lift. Called the local Safelite and was basically told the same thing. Anyone know the magic words to say when calling shops? Or know of a place in Fresno that will do it.

Technically service information says the DASM (ACC module) has to be calibrated after a change in tire size anyway. It’s a dynamic calibration meaning there’s no physical target for calibration, so it has to be driven to calibrate. It may fail depending on your lift/tire parameters but it could fail anyway from overheating this time of year. You could ask if they’ll let you sign a hold harmless or find somebody to do it under the table. Honestly there’s a good chance if the resulting DTC’s are cleared it will function properly.
