I'm more concerned with how I keep my Wolfbox camera mirror from going haywire. Every once in a while, the things just starts clicking through all the screens. It does this for 15 or 20 seconds, just going to each camera then the screen that shows all three cameras, then keeps going until it eventually stops. It's a little disconcerting.
Check the connection of the rear cam. If there's moisture in the connector, this issue will happen. Also make sure everything is secured tightly.
I use heat shrink with the sealing adhesive on my camera connectors.

I use that on almost anything Jeep related when I make connections other than a factory disconnect.
I didn't look at your link, but I call it "marine grade" with the glue that melts and seals the tubing to the wire or connector.

You might be able to see that "glue/sealer" where it oozed out the heat shrink here -

I use them on pretty much anything, even if it doesn't need to be water tight. I really like the ones I linked, they are a little thicker but still shrink really well, but I do notice some discoloration. Sometimes they look shiny, sometimes they look matte.

I've also started using solder first, and then crimp while hot, and in larger lugs and terminals using solder plugs before crimping. I used to just crimp and call it a day, but no matter how tight of a crimp they always manage to work themselves loose over time, especially with a lot of off road use.

After working at a dealership for a few years, I made sure to keep one of these handy. 30 or so bucks on the jungle site! Pennsyltucky requires you to clean your roof or its a guaranteed ticket.

The rear connection is inside the roof of my bed cap and doesn't get wet. It happens when it's dry and cold. I've started disabling features. It appears that disabling the voice controls may have fixed it. The beeping and shuffling of screens hasn't happened in a few days, although that may be due to the fact that I didn't drive the vehicle from Thursday the 11th until today. I'll keep you posted. Is there a way to turn off the feature where loud noises cause the unit to put a lock on the video files? I have the base radio, but the Wolfbox locks all the files if I turn the volume up past 15, which is very low.

The lock is from the G sensor being too sensitive. Turn that down or off. I had to turn mine off.
