I finally have a weekend that my "boss" (wife for you unattached members) ran out of "honey-do list" items, and I am tackling a few of my Gladiator mods, of which installing my Wolfbox G900 TriPro (bumper mount) system. I've run searches on this forum, YouTube, and other sites, and I am struggling to find anything detailing where people have mounted the rear and bumper cameras. Yes, I have the license plate bracket for the rear, but before I begin, I wanted to see if anyone has put theirs in a different location and is happy with the coverage.
I have a 2021 Mojave with a @TRUKD bed rack. The crossbars for my RTT are about 12" in height, but they are back 20" inside the truckbed, so mounting them there results in significant Field of View loss. This also means that my RTT blocks most of my view from the OEM mirror. My goal with the rear camera is the largest Field of View (a true upgrade to the standard OEM mirror). Shots of my Gladiator front and back for reference.
The only post that I have found on this forum showing either/both comes from @NOTJeepBeerSleep, where he puts the rear camera on the handle enclosure and front just below the bumper. These general areas are my ideal location, and his install looks great, but I'd love to see some alternate options and why they like their camera location. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...00-tripro-install-review-with-pictures.94650/
Thanks in advance. I'll add pictures and my overall opinion once I complete the install.
