60% Seat Delete With storage – My Custom DIY Solution

After designing this storage solution in my head for months I started working on it in mid February. I wanted a place to hold my Fridge, Bluetti, and dry goods in the cab while still having 3 seats. I didn't want a simple platform to strap everything to and decided to add a couple levels. This is made out of 1/2" oak plywood for the horizontal services and 3/4" whiteboard for the vertical surfaces. Still working out some small details but it is pretty close to completed. Vertical surfaces are covered in Raptor liner which I may redo and horizontal surfaces are covered in vinyl from hobby lobby which is close enough to the color of the tan leather for me.

looks like nice quality work, bet you could start a side gig selling those. haven't seen anything like that on the market yet. Think I could screw a car seat into the top so I could get the storage and still have my 5 year old ride

After some small trips, my daughter mentioned the lack of an armrest on her right side. I took that as a challenge. Here is what I came up with. Armrest, cupholder,and phone slot that can be removed if needed. I may need to reupholster but leaving on a 17 day trip this Friday so that can wait.
