Well I asked the whole question in the title. I'd prefer to keep my lights on bright when driving on my driveway, to watch for deer and to generally look around the property. If I get below 10 mph they automatically dim.

JSCAN or AlfaOBD can do it.

I understand why - there's times I'd change mine but not often enough to actually do it yet.
10 mph - yours waits to slower than mine - I think mine are the default of 12 or 13.
I just checked - it's 20 km which is about 12.5 miles or so.

Yeah. I wasn't 100% on the exact speed but it's above how fast I want to drive on the driveway at night.
Thanks

I've found auto high beams to be an annoyance. So I turned them off.

Do you guys find they work well??

Worked perfectly after I enabled it on my 2020 (they weren't an option until December 2019, mine was a November built)
And work perfectly on my 2022 as well.
My son love's 'em on his Compass and my wife loves 'em on her GC.
Around here you'd wear out the dimmer switch otherwise. Not kidding.

I love the auto high beams on my Gladiator. I had them on my previous Tundra also but never used them because they did not work very well. But the Jeep's version works much much better and I have not found a reason to turn them off!

They work great on the road.
In any case, good luck on the change and in your case, you likely want that mph shut-down to be pretty low, like a crawl.
There needs to be some distance between disengage and engage otherwise like a thermostat with both the high and low temp set to within a degree of each other, it will be flickering on and off, on and off constantly. You know the drill.

Yep. Good point on the buffer. No need for a driveway light show. LOL

Love my auto-high beams, here.. but yeah, the low speed thing is annoying.. AND, around here, if you auto dim your highbeams too early, the oncoming idiots with theirs on, won't dim theres (because they never see you dim yours, and they're not being blinded)

Additionally, if you have auto high beams set, and some moron flashes you to turn your regular beams down (because they don't understand that dips and hills in the road will aim beams up and down more), you can't quickly flash them to show them you don't have them on.

Yes..yes... I know.. it's a little petty, but I like not being blinded by idiots coming the opposite way.

I haven't tried it, but won't the "flash to pass" feature of pulling the lever back and holding it flash high beams?
(or turn the light switch counter-clockwise one notch to ON and they'll get a bright light)

LOl.. I have pillar lights and the front end 9" spots. I would love to do nothing more. But, honestly, they're so bright, I imagine it would blind someone for a significant amount of time.

My goal, honestly, is to make someone go 'Oh hell!'... not 'AAHHH!!!! I Can't see!!' (causing an accident) *GRIN*

True dat.
:)
Was mostly joking. We have a mate in the Jeep Group here that has 2 work cubes to the front and a lightbar ,that is to the rear that he has on the AUX. They are bright but are mostly directed to the ground.
In Germany we have a lot of tailgaters, and well they very quickly get the message when he puts the rear one on, but yea, because we have LED and are higher (all legal, super strict limits) I get flashed or high beamed by every m5, AMG, Porsche ... at some point you start, ehh what should I call it ..., retaliating (especially when they are the buggers with illegal blue led aftermarket super brights and probably slammed to the point of being illegal)#JeepWay Just for fun
