The Road To High Rock Bay

Time tends to soften all things. Where once there was a rugged trail that only the hearty and determined could tread, now there is simply a bumpy road with some puddles. The road to High Rock bay used to be something that was a bit of a challenging drive. Now it's simply a drive to be taken with caution. This means that the destination at the end of the trail is becoming more accessible. It's bitter sweet to me that this place can now be discovered by more people. I fear it might lose that thing that makes it special.

For sure- it’s like so many of the honey holes in Death Valley and central western Nevada…. Youtube famous and now most of its trashed and/or the national park service has ran a grater though it for Subaru access…. ???
