Can someone guide me on how to get engine DTC codes to show up on the dash with a push button start? 2022 gladiator.

With the key dance on other jeeps it was just a manner of flicking the key on and off.

They don't that I know of.
You need a code reader. Either software or a hardware device.
And there are hundreds of possible codes - some SAE standard, some FCA proprietary. (meaning what you look up may not match reality in a few cases)

Buy a bluetooth OBDII adapter and you can start with free software, or get JSCAN and register that. I don't generally deal with hardware-based code readers, I use software.
MAYBE someone here knows a good hardware device.
You can get the bluetooth OBDII adapters on Amazon and get software either free, or Jscan (23 bucks or so for your VIN) or AlfaOBD (can't recall the price on that one) those run on your phone.
