Heads up, Mopar Buy 3 get one $1 promo coming back up.

Was at the dealership getting service this morning, and the service and parts dept were setting up the buy 3 get one $1 tire promo displays.

Service Dept manager (have know her for years) said they almost always do it Oct & Nov, and then March & April, but wasn't sure if they were doing it again, this year.

Apparently they got word, on Monday, that it's a go, and she said there may be additional 'discounts' since they haven't been getting normal parts shipments for a couple of weeks now, and they wanna keep the shop busy.

So... obviously YMMV, but it looks like the normal sale is going to happen. (So now would be a good time to record those website prices, and see if they jack the pricing up beforehand, or not

Well, I've been looking at your site, and contacted my preferred local DT, and a couple of things:


1.) I don't show you carrying the Toyo 35/11.5/17 on your site..

2.) I figured I might go with the Nitto Recons in that size, only to be told by the local store that that size is discontinued.

So..... both of the preferred tires I was looking at (in 35/11.5/17, lighter than the Falken) are a no go.




Finally, I also read at some point that you all were partnered with Tirerack, or you own them... and yet, when I find the tires I want on Tirerack, I literally CAN'T pick my local DiscountTire to have them installed.


Thoughts/Ideas? (trust me, I would prefer DT)

LOL, my 33 MTs are down to 6-7/32.. and while I don't HAVE to replace them right now, my previous experience with MTs is they tend to start getting louder, and they've never really performed that well in rain/snow anyway, so seeing if the Jeep card has 24mo 0%APR again for this go around of tires.

And yes, I'd consider the DT card at 0% also. (decent length 0% APR is the only time I consider willingly using credit, unless I have to)

Never seen Mopar have the deal for rims, just tires.

That said, if their tire sales are a promotion by their distributor, and not Mopar, themselves (likely)... it's possible they might have other discounts applied to parts those same distributors handle. So, while I've never seen it, it'd not surprise me if they did something like that, to keep work coming in for their local dealership techs, too.

Update to this...

On Friday, each tire was priced at: $376.00 on Mopar's site.

As of yesterday, when the sale started, each tire is now priced at $401.00 on Mopar's site:

While I know that Mopar doesn't handle their own tires, and goes through a distributor.. that's still some grade A, dirtbag crap.
