Hello everyone,

As winter approaches it will be my first canadian winter in the truck. Any tips anyone has on what to expect.

Is there a need to place any weight in the back ? How does gladitor handle the ice and snow on roadways?

Thanks !

With good 3 peak rated tires, it does perfectly. They’re very well balanced. I admittedly have my recovery gear in there year round(close to 100lbs), but I’ve driven it in terrible storms without it and it holds traction very well. I’d make sure you’ve got good tires and you’re set. The stock falkens at3s were on mine for its first winter and I had zero complaints. I now love my Mickey Thomson Baja boss ats even better. They’re great on snow and ice.

nice to hear. I have the stock wild peaks . Did you notice any back end slipping due to less weight?

Went thru a wild winter last year and only needed 4H on the road a few times. This was mostly due to the packed snow and ice. The truck does surprisingly well in 2WD only.
