Many of us here are big fans. I have the SS3 SAE "pro" output driving lights in use as my DRLs and love them. The units are very bright and noticeable without being a nuisance. I also trust the heat-sink design to keep them running reliably.

For off-road use, they pair really nicely with my cowl-mounted Stage Series 6" light bars (and seem as bright!).

A good friend is an optics engineer and really enjoyed the video with the goniometer and use of TIR versus projectors. This is a solid design philosophy and a great set of products.

I have both. Baja design fog lights on my gladiator and diode ss3 max on my wrangler. I will take photos tonight.

One thing for sure is the Diode Dynamic customer service team was incredible. I called to ask a question and was met with a friendly informative, clearly off-road enthusiast. Not the same experience calling BD.

For foglight replacement my money will go to DD every time.

If anything, be sure to note if the Baja Designs fog lights are the original pods before the lens insert, including the lens insert to correct the output or the new projector-style fog lamps as shown in our video.
