NOT modern (JT) Gladiator related.....
I have one NOS (New, Old Stock) Motorola alternator that is apparently a Jeep service part. The model is A12NW which is an A series, 12 volt, negative ground W means made for Willys Corp.
If I recall correctly this unit was made by Motorola the 32nd week of 1964 - will check the date stamp code to be sure.
It's perfect for anyone restoring a Jeep of that era.
Motorola supplied the charging system for many Willys/Jeep vehicles in the 60s and then into the 1970s after AMC bought Jeep in 1970.
I bought up an old AMC dealer stock of their group 3 charging system parts and among the new alternators still in boxes was this one for Willys.
If there's any real interest I'll get pictures and further details. There's a lot of Gladiator owners who are serious Jeep people and have earlier versions of Jeep vehicles.
Good for late 1964 or early 1965 Willys Jeep -brand new, correct part number.
