Looks great. How do you like your ACE sliders? I've been thinking about getting the same ones.Purchase Day

Thanks! Ace sliders are built like a tank but they are not light (95lbs total). Can't have light and strong I guess. Take your time with the body mount bolts. Thread it out a little and then back in a little less and repeat. They are long bolts. I heard a big "crack" when loosening mine and thought I broke it. I think it was the thread locker letting go. I kept the factory sliders just to cover up the pinch welds.Looks great. How do you like your ACE sliders? I've been thinking about getting the same ones.
That spare tire protector is interesting.Once I got home the modifications really took off.
Except for three things I've done all the work myself. The three things are; Rhino Truck Bed Spray in the bed and on the fenders; CenterForce clutch install; and wiring from the battery for the ARB dual air compressor.

This is the dual air compressor and also the Bak4 tonneau I installed.
A lot of the mods were quite easy.

Extra large spinner on the left side of the steering wheel so turning and shifting can be done easily.

Shade support clips. Recommended by forum guys.

Red line Mojave hood props. The Mojave hood weighs a ton so these props are fantastic. Again recommended by you forum guys.
Some of the mods I did were a pain in the ass to install but not that hard.
![]()
Had to undo the seats, take out the carpet, and all this trim to install the Armorlite Flooring.
![]()
The stealth LED lights required taking out the dash to do the wiring.
![]()
But I love the result. Lights are not as good and the interior installation won't work for you tall guys. But I can use them in amber or white light.
![]()
You can see the lights here. What I'm about to install in this picture is a Tread Dual CatBack Exhaust I spent $1200 on. Wife absolutely hated them and I too thought they were too loud so back to the stock exhaust it went.
![]()
Make an offer if you want to buy them from me. I'm just west of St Louis and you'll be responsible for shipping if you can't drive here.
![]()
Bought this tire protector---absolute pain in the ass for an older guy to install as the tire is so heavy---about to get worse when I go to a 5th wheel and 35" Toyo tires.

The BAK Revolver X4s tonneau cover wasn't bad, just hard to do by myself. Same for the BestStop Sunrider Top I put on. Love them both.
The RockSlide Engineering Gen 3 steps were really hard to do even with help.
![]()
Note also the half doors.
![]()
LoD side panels behind the rear fenders were easy. The LoD bumper was pretty easy. The whole thing was horrible because it took me hours to take apart the stock plastic bumper to get to the sensors.
![]()
The LoD full width front bumper was not easy due to my wanting to use the stock skid plate and not reroute the shock reservoirs. Took it off and put it back on no less than three times. Then when I added the 12K winch I had to take it off twice to add spacers to get it to fit properly.
Current look. Wife unit is just a bonus for you guys.

On the Oklahoma Trans America Trail. 600+ miles of off road.

Start of the trail. Have to STRICTLY follow the LatLong readings. Hard to do all by yourself but well worth the occasional [?] backtracking.

Expect to get a couple more in Aug/Sept/Oct of this year during a 5k + trip taking a Brit with Parkinson's [Guy Deacon] around our northwest. As a Lieutenant Colonel he was my Executive Officer in Afghanistan. Simply amazing story on gofundme by looking up his name.
