Lomax folding cover--install question if you have a sprayed in bedliner

Kind of a specific question for those of you with the Lomax cover. The IFUs talk about "smoothing" the spray in bedliner at the bulkhead to apply the rubber gasket/seal. Just interested to see if anyone actually did this--no way I am going to smooth down the bedliner for the gasket.

Did not smooth bedliner. A little water gets in in a heavy rain. Very pleased with it 50 k miles in.

Did not smooth bedliner. A little water gets in in a heavy rain. Very pleased with it 50 k miles in.
I did not smooth the bed liner, no leaks
Hey, thanks for the replies! By the way, I just received some example finish samples from Agri. Nice to see in real life. The textured urethane and the matte black are really nice. They also sent a sample of carbon fibre--I wonder why they needed to coat this with urethane? The underside looks better than the exposed side. Anyway, was not considering carbon fibre, but interesting to see in real live.
