Hey all,

I’ve posted a couple threads about my new 23 Mojave and CEL coming on and every time it’s P0330. The dealer has replaced the knock sensor, wire harness, pcm, ran overlay wires to eliminate the signal and it continues to happen. The engineers at Chrysler have told the service team to now replace the engine wire harness. Is anyone familiar with that? Could a faulty wire on the engine harness cause a knock sensor code to set off the CEL? If this doesn’t fix it what else could

I got a lemon lawyer and won a settlement from Chrysler but I still need my truck fixed.

Thanks

Wasn't part of the settlement to replace the truck? That's usually where Lemon Law cases end up.

Well that’s what I asked for but I learned that when they replace a vehicle they match msrp for msrp. I bought it last fall when the gladiators were massively rebated. The vehicle also has to be new it can’t be used. There is no new Mojave out there at the rebated price I bought it. They would’ve done a buyback but the rebate again is subtracted from what I would get back so I wouldn’t have had enough to put down on another vehicle. Only thing to do was to get a check and hope they fix it before the warranty runs out

As long as it's under warranty, let them keep trying. If the new harness doesn't fix it, they will probably replace the engine.

I just had this happen with my 22 JLR. it was at the dealer repair for 60 days. in my case was a Cam code. they replaced every everything, finally, the last thing they did was the main harness, fixed the issue. I have also had the main harness replaced on the following 2018 JLU, 2015 RAM 1500.

Wow, three different vehicles at least it fixed it. That’s reassuring. I’ve never had so much trouble with a vehicle.

I've added it up and I’m going on 4 months that it’s been at the dealer out of the 11 I’ve owned it.

Holy crap Ricky I didn’t know that either. I am almost at the similar point on my path with my JTRD. Sadly ppl like yourself have gone through the Lemon law stuff but it’s nice to be able to post on here and get ideas about the process.

If you go that route I strongly recommend getting a lawyer. I went with one of those that don’t get paid unless you win. I would have gotten the shaft from Chrysler for sure if I didn’t and it was clear that these lawyers do this daily for a living.
