I got a great deal on a set of Mojave take offs and put them on to replace my stock wheels on my 2023 Sport

The TPMS light is on and says “tire pressure unavailable”. I’ve driven about 2 hours with this now so it’s seems it’s not going to reset itself.

My question is: what do I need to fix or replace to get these to sync up? I tried searching around and lots of results about people having this issue but I thought going from Mopar wheels to mopar wheels I might get lucky and avoid this.

What year Mojave did they come from? Mid 2021 they changed the frequency that the TPMS works on. So prior wheels won’t sync up with latter vehicles or vice versa. Only way to fix it if that’s the cause is to dismount the tires and put the newer version sensors in.

Thats a bummer but thank you for the information. Im not sure which year it was(got them from someone who got them from someone) but I do know it was older so that probably explains it. Thank you!

You do not have to dismount the tires. My tire shop used their machines bead breaker to push the side of the tire to the inside and changed the TPMS sensor in the space available. Done like this, the tires did not have to be rebalanced.

Oh good, I'm going to call around to some shops this morning and see if I can find someone to do it without costing an arm and a leg.
