Will these be available to the civilian market? What price point?

I've considered possibly doing some modifications to my JTRD for a full black-out night vision mode. I have friends who did it on dirt bikes and side by sides which I imagine is much easier.

They've been released for just about a year for private use. They'll be coming to the market in the US in the near future. No price points to share at this time until officially released. Stay tuned!

So these are so we can drive our rigs with night vision goggles? I’m confused.
That's right. IR light is invisible to the naked eye but it's visible under night vision.

Night vision still requires some light to function, it works (in simple terms) by amplifying light. IR light allows you to project light without being seen by anyone or anything that doesn't have similar technology.
