Has anybody run a set of Gladiator branded tires? Obviously the search function of Gladiator brand tires give 1000's of results and none of them are actually the brand of tire.

My Grabber ATX 35-12.50x17 tires have hit just over 50K miles and I probably have about 5K left before they need to be changed. I want to goto 37's for my set. I want a white letter tire as I have a retro theme build and that is what looks is best.

General discontinued the 37" Grabber ATX. Only BFG K02's and these Gladiator X comp X/T's are the only white letter tires available. The KO3's in this size won 't be released until May 2026 (seems stupid, but ok)

The Gladiator XT's are 3 peak snow rated but are on national backorder.

Let me know if anybody has run these and their impressions in any size.
Thanks

They also make Trailer tires which are extremely crappy……. They come on a lot of Attitude trailers and people usually like myself get rid of them ASAP.

I've been looking at these for a bit and decided to pull the trigger.

I originally wanted the ATs but my tire dealer said the ATs don't come with rwl sidewalls. 🫤 Which is what I wanted.

We will see how they are. When I saw the tread in person, they look more mud terrain style than AT so not sure how they came up with the idea that they are a cross between the two. Not too loud on the freeway. We'll see how they hold up. We are heading into winter here in SoUthern CA and I make a lot of trips into the mountains. I put about 30k miles per year on this truck so I should know fairly soon how they do.

I haul trailers and loads with this rig so I went with the 33x12.5's. Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks, but they look a little smaller than the 285 70's I had on before which makes no sense. I'm kind of wishing I had gone with the 35s.

Quick 1000 mile update. Yup, already put a thousand miles since getting these.

I'll start with the cons and the first one is a big one, or rather I should say "small". The tire sizing with this brand is not true to size. I got the 33's and after a couple days this little voice in me kept saying that they looked smaller than the 285s that I had on previously. So I broke out the tape measure and sure enough, ground to top of tread height was barely 31.5". These are on the recommended 8-in with wheels and inflated to 40 PSI. (E rated tires) By comparison my old 285s were on the stock wheels and measured ground to top of tread just over 32". This was pretty disappointing so I went back to the tire supplier that I got these from and long story short the good news is the manufacturer agreed to switch them out for the 35s and I only paid the difference in cost. The 35s measure just under 34".

Other than that, so far I'm happy. The 35s look much better on the truck and they are relatively quiet despite the chunky treads that look more like mud terrains then a cross between ATs and MTs.

Only question now is how treadwear holds up and rain and snow handling. We have an atmospheric River coming through the next 3 days so the rain should be sufficient to test them out and although there's not supposed to be any snow in the mountains, that can change pretty quickly.

Truck looks good with those 35's now! Most tires are a bit shorter but not by that much for a 33" tire. Glad the dealer worked with you on the 35's.

Keep us posted in your wet weather report.
