I saw a LE Rubicon, of course, Jeeps park next to Jeeps so I obliged.
We both have the Mopar 2ā, the Rubicon has a 1.5ā Front spacer lift on top of the 2ā Mopar.

Great find! This is not really my cup of tea and I didnāt do research on the subject, but was this Willys a 4X4 vehicle?

My grandfather, a high school principal, drove one of these Jeepster. As kids back in the ā60s, we thought riding in the red Jeep was the best adventure ever. As a teenager, I learned more about the car. The Jeepsters of this era were all 2 wheel drive (though many have been customized to 4x4 over the years). 4 cylinder āGo Devilā flat head engine, ā3 on the treeā shifters, full soft tops Including snap-on side curtains. Likely the most unusual feature was the front suspension. A single, transverse (side to side!) leaf spring operated both front wheels. As I recall these were only made for about 3 years in the late ā40s to early ā50s with a total of about 20,000 sold. Pretty hard to come by these days. Unfortunately the Jeepster went to an older grandson when he passed in the early ā70s. Fortunately that grandson still owns and cares for it.
