I'd never in a million trust any dealerships around here to install a lift. No way. They'd screw it up bigly and have trouble with the instruction sheet. Can't believe how many folks order and get the lift - or was this a FACTORY thing? There's no way in hexx any dealership here could handle it.Picked mine up tonight! Ordered 10/01 and delivered 12/05. It was worth the wait!! It was getting dark when I got to the dealership, but I did snag a few photos while there and on the way home. More to come... I’ve got the Mopar 2” lift and 37/12.50/17 BFG KM3s ready to go on her this weekend. I’m ready... Good stuff!

Agree with you @ShadowsPapa . After 2 suboptimal amateur, yet expensive installs of lifts on my previous JK Jeeps, I decided to take matters into my own hands and do my own installs on my JL and my JT. I know both lifts were installed correctly and I haven't had a single issue. I'm not a mechanic but our Jeep suspensions are really easy to work on and by doing my own install, I now have a better understanding of how our suspensions work.I'd never in a million trust any dealerships around here to install a lift. NICE rig - what I should have gotten to begin with.
Everyone who sees these with the body color roof and fenders really likes them. I've even seen sales people do walks around mine looking at it - comments from DEALERSHIPS like "never saw one with all body color" and they love it.
LOVE the blue. Glad my wife agreed. I'd be fine some some of the others, but these really pop.Agree with you @ShadowsPapa . By the way, all of these Hydro Blue JTs are really looking good. Congratulations all you Hydro Blue owners.
I've now installed 6 lifts and not once have I used a spring compressor. Doesn't mean it wouldn't make it easier but its doable without.LOVE the blue. Glad my wife agreed. I'd be fine some some of the others, but these really pop.
I am a mechanic by training, trade and experience, HOWEVER, every type of vehicle has it's own specifics.
These are no exception. So I'll be learning on the JT as I go.
I know my other cars inside and out and can walk almost anyone through most things on them - down to the bolt and wrench sizes in most areas, and on some, the correct bolt head markings and finish on the bolts and nuts.
So I'll likely do any sort of lift or spring changes myself. But there are specifics I'll have to pick up. These are not the same as the old straight axle cars, and a world of difference from the SLA suspensions.
I am curious, though, I don't see mention of anyone using spring compressors here - it's always disconnect almost everything, lower the axle and lift the spring out. Doesn't anyone use compressors any more? Makes it easy if you can lower the axle a bit, leave some things connected, compress and remove the spring, compress the new spring and set it in place.
I'd be lost without the spring compressors I have for my cars - but then, they are specific to the cars. Factory/dealership tools.
Yeah I figured it was very doable without - but I'm used to using tools to save time and energy and work.I've now installed 6 lifts and not once have I used a spring compressor. Doesn't mean it wouldn't make it easier but its doable without.
You can add the Tazer mini and eliminate 3/4 the safety crapHappy for you, sir. Nice job.
Gator is fading, Hydro is gaining for me. I half believe if I could find a Hydro with Saddle and no Safety BS, I'd buy it (since I can no longer order one without the Safety BS Pkg). Hmm, I do love the Durango SRT . . .
