Took delivery of my sting gray rubicon on Monday. Dealer told me for some reason they are missing a clip for the rear plate and have it on order.
Weather has been crappy and while I have the truck in the garage, I have to get things arranged better to work on it. I have not opened the various bags that came with the truck (soft top storage, etc). He said usually the "clips' are in these bags.
How does the rear plate actually mount? I see no pre-drill dimples on the rear bumper where one would drill to make sure things are centered.
I have seen pictures online of a bracket that actually mounts to the bumper, then I guess the plate to that? I really dont want to drive 40 mins to this dealership for a cheap part and 5 minutes of their work and would rather do it myself.
So can anyone shed some light on how the rear plate is supposed to mount?
