Who's done it and how much of a pain was it or was it as easy as the JKs. I am about to meet a guy and buy some new stock ones for the front. My wife God Bless her, hit the dang order sign at Sonic today in my gladiator and rough up the driver's side one pretty good. Took a nice gouge out of it. I found some locally for $110 for both sides and they came off a Max Tow as well. I was pretty ticked off in the moment and over reacted, then I realized how easy the JKs were to fix. Just sucks. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Eh, it's just a scratch. Make up a good story about how it happened out on the trail and call it good. :like::rock::jk:

Just picked them up. Wondering if anyone has ever painted the flares to match their JT. I'm debating if I want to get them painted or not. I know that they are textured and the paintable ones aren't but is that the only difference in them

Thought about it. If would stick right I'd be all for it. It didn't stay on the JK flares to well. For a few yrs it was good but after about 3-1/2 yes it started flaking off

That should buff out
It's got a gouge in it. I doubt it. I just replaced it with the other flare. Only thing I didn't account for was the 3 or 4 rivets that I got to redo. I think they got those at harbor freight, I got a rivet tool, just need the rivets. Picture

I guess I'm headed to Harbor Freight to get some rivets or another tool in the morning. Hopefully they just sell the rivets.

Well nevermind on the rivets, this is a rarity, I actually found another bag of rivets that came with the rivet tool I bought from harbor freight. Nice:rock:

Thanks for the warning, I was thinking if I ever scratch any of my flares badly or if they faded, I would Line-X them, maybe not now. I don't know if the JL flares are a different plastic than the JK, but they do have a different surface texture/color.
