Now you've jumped the shark, I have a Spot 3 and it's much larger. But it can't remote start my engine when it's hot, or even unlock the damn car.

Lol, take the apple watch and put it against all those fobs there. No fob available today should exceed the size of the apple watch. End of story. 2020 is a long ways from 1960. ;)

My watch can no longer remote start or unlock my Jeep. Sigh. I loaded iOS 14 beta, and the Jeep app is the ONLY damn app that checks to make sure I'm running either 12 or 13, instead of checking for 12 or newer. So it says my version is too old to work. Idiots.

really? did i have to say 'to scale'? face palm

but others may be right, what's a replacement fob cost vs a full computer that's 1/4 the size and only 500 buckaroos?

ah yes, some of you have auto start, for you it does 3 things haha, for the poor sport owners without power locks it only does one thing...that's not just sad...but tragic

You did make a tragically poor choice for sure.

Jeep should capitalize on this for marketing:

SO GOOD
They're arguing about the damn keys!

$300

That includes pairing it to the truck. The dealer said it has to be custom ordered using the VIN number, so they can laser cut the key, and takes about two weeks to get it.

Mostly monopolized by one individual who hates the size of the FOB...
I've gotten used to it mostly. Is it huge? Yeah, but I also drop it on the counter by the door when I walk into the house and have figured out how to unlock the JT without needing to pull it out of my pocket. I may get a holster for it like I used to do with my pliers. Heck, the stuff I used to carry on my belt when I worked as a network person and electrician for PFG would pull the pants off a skinny person.
A small holster would be cool - could be opposite my cell phone holster.

I do wonder - why not just set up my cell phone to take the place of the FOB..........

My FOB never leaves my pocket, except to unlock the gas cap. It's the largest FOB I've ever had, but the size is not an issue for me. I have the proximity locks, which I think everyone should want. I also have the App on my phone which lets me lock, unlock, and remote start.
