Key Fob Follies

My wife HATES the damn fob and makes fun of it.

Mine has only driven the Jeep once. I would think a woman wouldn't even notice the size once she's dropped it in her purse. Providing her purse is big enough.

She also thinks Gladiators are ugly inside and out,

I know mine is thinking that.

and that we're dumb for spending days working on mods for our toys.

She doesn't carry a purse, and I do. Er...laptop bag. It's kind of pretty though. She puts the fob in her jeans, and I keep it hanging from a clip on the belt loop. She managed to lose a BMW fob that way though.

Well, we found the BMW fob last night. It's too damn small and got into an unsewn fold in her yoga bag. Another reason for the larger fob.

Another thing that creates size is ruggedness. It think you could drive over this fob.

Lmfao...which is totally possible, since the jeep could very well be running, because it's not stuck in the dash where it should be...fob could end up in another country before you quit driving it. Dumb af we are.

And my ram had awesome range on auto-start lock/unlock and the fob went into the dash...common sense still applied. But i don't understand it enough lol.

The BMW has a dash slot for the fob. I used to use it, then realize how idiotic that was.

quite a few people have also realized how idiotic that was, as they get somewhere without the fob and now stranded, or hybrids left on gassing the garage and house, ignorance is bliss though...this thread is mostly about the size so lets stay on topic, for it's lack of being physically attached to the machine and lack of a valet detach key...those two things alone could merit their own threads haha

the sheer size of this infernal pos fob...is the biggest annoyance of all 3, number 2 would be that it doesn't attach to the vehicle before allowing start/stop and number 3 would be lack of valet key option...

Jeep/FCA...you really hit it out of the park with this one...seriously, that's a lot of fack ups condensed into such an insulting piece of plastic
