DV8 FS-18 Front Bumper Auxiliary Side Markers Wiring

I installed a new front bumper, specifically the DV8 FS-18. I wired the auxiliary side markers that mount in the front bumper to the turn signal circuits. The auxiliary side markers do not illuminate. I tried two different connections. 1) Black to black and white to white/tan 2)Black to black and white to white/green. Neither connection illuminated the side markers. Unfortunately, I do not have a wiring diagram at my disposal, but one of my concerns is that I may need to build a harness that they wont connect directly to the circuit. Anyone have any issues with this or could lend some guidance to confirm my connections? Thank you in advance.
