yeah, there site is a little messed up. Better engineers/fabricators than web designers.

I haven't seen a better built bumper tire/carrier. One piece. excellent fit and finish. no rattles.

Sharp looking bumper, I like it but without a towing certification I'm out being I have 4 different things to tow. I'm sure it's up to it but if something happens I'd be up s### creek with out a paddle. It's a lot more substantial than many Wrangler bumpers that are being used to tow.
I quit looking for better options for bumpers for now. I think that more stuff will be coming out for the JT's now being how well it's doing. But time for me to lay back on spending on my JT for some time. I've probably spent about $4000 in last few months.
I think I would trust not having a cert on the tow. I built my own years ago and never had an issue. I only had my fabrication knowledge no computer no solid works and no autocad. Never failed me.

One thing that I haven't seen is how it is actually mounted. Is it tied into the frame on the sides for example?

The sides tie into the frame similar to factory rubicon rear quarter rails. The rear of the bumper ties into the frame on the ends where factory bumper bolts up. Also, has option to move the rear camera to just above the license plate. I got extra spindle covers so I can run with or without the swing-outs.

Sounds like a good setup?

I really think you should contact SOS if you are serious about a bumper with tire carrier. They were awesome to work with and have been manufacturing Tacoma stuff for years (big following in that community) and they would love to get more Jeep business. They really hooked me up for the chance to mess with a Jeep and get their name into our community. I have had zero issues with mine. I have two receivers, one hidden behind the license plate and one under the bumper. No issues towing.

My JCR bumper has been great throughout my ownership. I’m looking to sell it now as I’m putting my JT on an extreme diet. It’s listed for sale in Arizona on this forum if anyone is interested
