Here are some interior photos of the Expedition Driven Camper (EDC). Keep in mind that because the annex is not staked out you will see gaps around the tailgate in these photos. These gaps are greatly reduced by staking out the annex or using magnets to snug the annex to the tailgate. The EDC pictured is equipped with optional equipment including our Solar+Battery, Lighting, Speed Table, and Overland Max Accessory options.

First a view from outside. Here we see EDC's annex windows fully open with the annex zipped closed.

A view from inside, sitting on the bed, looking out. Here you can see the windows rolled and secured using the included ties.

-----

The windows can also be zipped to any position to allow for airflow/visibility but also retaining some privacy as desired. Here you see the windows at halfway.

EDC's tailgate annex is in two sections that can be zipped on/off independent of one another. This serves two purposes: allowing you added flexibility for configurations of your annex as well as making it much easier to manage when zipping on/off. Here we see one side of the annex zipped back halfway.

Here we see both sides of the tailgate annex zipped halfway back to give wide-open access to the camper.

Here's a close look at the LiftAway Sleep Platform. At 58" x 90" it's extremely roomy!

The red tabs on the windows are for the closure bungee. This is put in place just prior to closing EDC lid for travel. The bungee makes the closure process fast and easy by pulling the tent inwards as the lid closes.

-----

Here we see the LiftAway sleep platform lifted up to the ceiling giving maximum standing room. Even while lifted to the ceiling there is 4" of room to allow your bedding to stay in place.

-----
With the sleep platform lifted, there is a convenient standing desk area at the front of the camper.

I make an insect repellent that works very well without DEET. 30 drops of lemon grass/eucalyptus oil, 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract (no alcohol mixed in !!) and 2 fl.oz. witch hazel. Some folks cannot tolerate eucalyptus and that may be omitted. Use 30 drops straight lemon grass oil. Can be applied directly to skin and tent openings.

How do you keep mosquitoes, No-See-Ums, Crane Flys(mosquito hawks), etc. out? Oh, and June bugs.

Two things I hate about camping:
1) poison ivy/oak
2) that pesky flying insect buzzing your face and ear when trying to go to sleep!
Great question!

As stated at the top of this post:

"Keep in mind that because the annex is not staked out you will see gaps around the tailgate in these photos. These gaps are greatly reduced by staking out the annex or using magnets to snug the annex to the tailgate."

You can also treat the tent with Permethrin, which adds a great repellant factor. In our testing, bugs haven't been an issue.

The tailgate is aluminum.... so there is that 🤔
Someone should tell these magnets. ;)

You're right that the face of the tailgate is aluminum, but theres enough steel on the sides for our purposes to secure the tailgate annex. Thanks!
