I saw your vehicles - reversed here - 2021 Grand Cherokee and 2020 JT Overland. I was wondering about the time-out on the ACC for the radio. I was using hit while unloading landscaping block and working in the yard and it shut off like you said.
i timed it multiple times at 40 minutes

if the radio times out at 40 minutes would that not shut down your factory blue tooth speaker sound also?

The bluetooth speaker only plays sound from the truck stereo when it is in the factory charging bay. Otherwise, it has to be paired to another device, like a tablet or phone. That is what I've read in other threads, I have not personally confirmed it.

Trying it now...waiting for 30 minutes if this works!

How did your test go?

Or has anyone else tried leaving the truck in neutral and using ACC to listen past 30 min?

Any complications? Any dead batteries?

Actually. The only person bothered here is you. All I did was say this is what Bluetooth speakers are for and you got all angsty emotionally triggered by it.

If anyone is bothered by anything it's you, by others suggesting there's other options. But you don't seem to want other options. But this thread isn't just for you, maybe another reader says oh hey yes, Bluetooth speakers!

But no. You have to go and get severely triggered at the mere mention of other options. And this is by no means the first thread where you get so overly triggered.

The telltale classic sign of somebody being bothered is projecting feelings and emotions onto other people.

Chill. Out.

Doesn’t seem to be the situation here but Bluetooth speaker wouldn’t work if you were at a drive in movie (probably the only time I would be using the Gladiators radio for that long without actually driving)

If you want to listen to radio in ACC mode your Gladiator will shut off after 40 minutes .I found out how to make it stay playing ,put in neutral ,put on emergency brake put in ACC mode . i tested today stayed on 3 hours, Any other ways i dont know about?? i have a 2021 Gladiator overland with 8.4 radio.Getting ready to party and using my jeep for the music.
Does it shut off if you use it in RUN instead of ACC?

Old topic I know..but I am looking for a way to do this. My JT is going to be inside in a huge indoor car show in Cincinnati this coming week. Cars are required to have batteries disconnected and use a power inverter for power (I have done this for years on other cars - so no need to post about electrical concerns or battery drain). I usually showcase my stereo (all JL aftermarket) and my communications and rock lights, etc.

For a couple years I would have to constantly revisit the jeep to turn it back on as the battery timed out.

Tazer told me they want to do find a way to get this to work (eliminate timer) but have not made it a priority.

I am reading you can simply start the jeep and leave it in neutral, then turn it off, and pop back into accessory mode. However, I cant start the truck up down there per Fire Marshall code. (the show is for 3 days). I am wondering if I leave it in neutral with wheels chocked for safety, if I could trick the system, and just hit the accessory mode each day and let it go.

Have you tried just putting it in Run mode? If you don't put your foot on the brake, the engine doesn't start.

I've had my truck in run mode doing things with JSCAN and AlfaOBD and it takes a while but it will shut down. It's a battery preservation thing, I suspect.
In run mode you have a lot more things activated than you did in the 70s when all you would do is burn points.
