First, to avoid comments from people not reading:
- ONLY the screen/headunit won't work, all the other HVAC panel buttons work and have lights
- Tapping the screen doesn't seem to make any change or sound
- I see no splash screen or back light come on when I press the ignition/AUX
- I did check a few fuses and relays and pressed down all of them. Saw nothing wrong but haven't gotten into detail
- I did not remove the head unit/screen/radio whatever you want to call it
- I did not cut any wires, or add an amp. Everything was plug and play

Ok. I already changed the sound bar speakers and the dash speakers with no issue. So I started to change the knee panel speaker, I got the right speaker in and turned it on, everything sounded great. Got the second speaker installed and all of a sudden the head unit won't turn on, at all, no back light or anything. I did search around on google/here for a specific fuse or OCP, or something that I might check but couldn't find anything. This was all plug and play so I can't see what would have caused this other than the additional load on the head unit amp for the speakers. But still, shouldn't cause it to not turn on.

I looked the fuse box but I don't see anything for the head unit itself, only HVAC/buttons among other things. If you happen to know I'll check that one. When I get home I'll try pulling the battery battery and let everything drain out and try agian.

Any meaningful suggestions or advice is appreciated!

Thanks
Happy thanksgiving.

Fuse F97 20amp Yellow is the radio fuse. Radio ground G912A is somewhere on the right side around the firewall. Might have disturbed something when installing the right lower speaker.

Wow, thanks for this! I'll check that out!

97 isn't marked as radio on the other diagram I was looking at. Some other website.

Thanks! I'll report back when I narrow it down.

No luck so far. I pulled the radio fuse, speaker connections and double checked every connection I could see and still no go. I unplugged the battery and the head unit to leave it to drain out. Hopefully that doesn't cause further issues lol.

In the diagram below it shows the 20a fuse down to the connector into the head unit. It does say "fused B (+)" I'm not sure whether this is indicating that there is no connector there or that there's a fuseable link and no current rating stated. When i pulled the head unit there as no fuse or fuseable link that I could see.

If this doesn't work IDK what ever to do.

You didn't accidentally unplug the Gateway module on the back of the driver's side knee panel speaker?

Huzzah! This was it! What ended up happening is I did reconnect it but one of the connectors must have not been seated all the way. I had the wire jammed between the box and some metal so when I pushed and tug on it to check it yesterdayI couldn't tell. I disconnected it and reconnected. After that it fired right up!

Net speakers in front are installed and now on to the rears. the tweeters still need mounting but I'll get to that after Tday.

Thanks everybody!
