The plastic front bumper Rubicon and Mojave are the same skid plate, and I put a Rubicon plastic bumper skid plate on wife’s JL, perfect fit and about the same weight or less then the pile of plastic and metal they cone with.
Good deal! GLWS

This should fit a Willys edition Gladiator, right?
Yes it will. This is how the Mojave skid plate mounts. It incorporates 2 brackets that you bolt to the bumper support frame.

Curious if you guys know because I just bought one of these second hand without hardware, just the skid and brackets. Is there a hardware list somewhere? The bolts should be easy enough to find, but what are those black things in the photo? Are they nutserts?

Here you go buddy. This link is a hardware kit to mount the skid plate. It has the brackets included but I know you have one already. The 4 black items are bolts that secure the skid plate itself to the bracket and the frame. The 4 silver bolts in the picture secure the bracket to the frame also to be able to mount the skid.

Bolts to mount bracket : 6104414AA (4 ea)
Bolts to mount skid plate : 6512587AA (4 ea)

*check to see if your existing frame section on the truck already has the nutserts installed to mount the brackets. If not you’ll need those too (4ea)
** you need 7 bolts to mount the skid plate if you have the skid plate the mounts to the 3 piece Mopar Steel bumper from the Rubicon. But only 4 for the Mojave

I’ve included some photos for reference so you can see how the brackets attach and which holes need the nutserts.

Thanks Dean! Just the info I was looking for. Yes I have the brackets just need the hardware. I checked and I'll need the nutserts too. I'll probably have to go to the dealer if I wanna get just the hardware, though we have a good hardware store nearby. I have the Sport S plastic bumper which I think is the same as the Mojave so maybe the 4 bolts instead of 7. We'll see. Thanks for the info!

Yep if you have the plastic bumper then you’ll only need 4 bolts to mount the skid plate. 2 to the brackets and 2 to the bumper support section. Dealer should have the all the hardware available on site hopefully.

Well it seems I scored. He had all the bolts but he didn't realize it until he double checked. So I just need to pick up the rivnuts. I'll check with the dealer. They range in cost on line from $2 to $12 a piece. $12 seems a bit steep! (come on Quadratec!)

Lol Quadratec is sometimes (most of the time) always overpriced on their genuine Mopar parts! When need be I go with BAM wholesale.

Well, call me a doofus but in my excitement to get the rivnut things on I put the ones for the bottom brackets on the outside instead of the inside. And I didn't realize I needed rivnuts for the upper brackets. Fortunately one of the ones for the upper bracket (inside) is directly across from the one for the lower bracket (outside) so I only wasted 2. Back to the dealership for 6 more. LOL. At least they're only $5 each.

LOL it happens to the best of us when we get excited! Glad you were able to figure it out. At least they’re not too expensive haha.

Well I got it installed successfully, mostly. Thanks for the help. I did manage to rip a bolt head off while mounting one of the upper brackets; my torque wrench malfunctioned. But I think it's still on there pretty good. I have to take it in for some service soon, so I'm gonna as the tech if they can remove the bolt for me. We'll see. I'm not overly concerned, just bummed. GLWS!

Glad I could help a fellow Jeeper! I didn’t think there was a specific torque for those bracket bolts. I would have assume just some loctite and snug would be efficient. That screw should be easy to extract based on its size. You might even be able to use a dremel disc and cut a notch into it if it sticks out far enough past the support frame and try to screw it all the way through the hole and then use a magnetic pick up tool to fish it out. Either way I wouldn’t stress too much, there’s still another bolt holding that bracket on. The weight of the skid may pull it down some but not much.

The bolt is in a bit too deep for the dremel idea, I had thought of that. In fact I thought maybe I could cut another bolt very short and catch the few threads. I have to look into it further. So far it's fine.
