Knock-off Amfib Snorkel

I didn't see any reviews for this but I'm going to taking a chance on this knock-off amfib snorkel. What do you guys think about it? It looks to be the same as the Rugged Ridge snorkel. If it isn't as expected, at least I have until the end of January to return it.

Wasn't there a design issue with the amfi? If this is a clone, it might have the same design flaw. Might want to look into that.

So this snorkel came with metal inserts that would keep the shape of the tubing on the inside. So far so good with the fitment.

Didn’t like the ram air snorkel so had to get a cyclone snorkel.

I got it from Amazon. No modifications needed just bolt on.

Looks like ebay has the same knock off one for a little less than Amazon, for those on the fence.

Looks really good! at almost half the cost of the original. Maybe even from the same factory. The amfib is something I really want but haven't seen any provisions for the Mojave yet.

Took the chance and purchased one off ebay. Seems like it will hold up. It was packaged really nice and every individual piece was individually wrapped. It has the metal reinforcements in the middle long tube and also has them on the pieces that piece connects to. Just quickly glancing at the directions they look pretty good.
