"Engine start stop unavailable. Service Start/Stop System"
and... Intermittent non-functioning reverse sensor (6mt, no camera, no reverse lights).
Just about to hit 37,000, so would these two issues still be considered power train?
I know I should just ask the dealership, but if they're not going to warranty the issues, I might just fix the reverse sensor and ignore the ASS (I don't use it anyway).

Finally got the ole covered wagon into the dealership today, turns out BOTH of these issues are pulling transmission errors, so they'll be covered under warranty, but it's gonna be a wait for shop time & repairs. They don't know if they'll be swapping the trans, or not.

On a separate note, if my Centerforce clutch delivers before they do the work, chances of them swapping my clutch while their in there are pretty much zero, aren't they.....

If they are doing it under warranty, then about zero chance they would put in the Centerforce clutch.

If out of warranty and on your dime, they probably would consider it but would probably not warranty their work since using aftermarket parts.

remember the clutch and clutch assembly is only warranted for 12k miles and 12 months - whichever comes first.

THAT dealership would warrant their work - but you could not take it elsewhere to get anything fixed that was related to the installation.
That's how my dealer explained it. If I wanted MOPAR parts installed, the part would become part of the truck and be warranted and their work as well.
If I used some other brand accessory, they warrant their work and the company that made the part warrants the part, Jeep warrants only their stuff and their original work.

They'll be happy to put in any clutch that fits but Jeep won't warrant it and they'll charge for the clutch install would be my take. The rest of the drivetrain warranty would still apply, Centerforce would be warranted by that company, dealer would warrant their install (like if some part fell out because of their mistake - they'd put it back)

Yeah, but there is just a lot of variables in what the OP is asking. Nothing lost in him asking his dealership but with his current situation and if the call is made to R&R the transmission, 90% of the clutch works is staying on the flywheel engine side and would be a separate labor charge for putting in his Centerforce clutch and just saving the transmission R&R hours and not the clutch R&R hours. There is a lot of risk if they decide to do it and something goes wrong with either the transmission or the clutch, they will blame the clutch parts and not their labor leaving the OP hanging.

Yes, all very relevant points. The clutch is additional hours. R&R transmission is one thing, but there's time in doing a clutch correctly, too.
It won't be done for free if it is done.
