Winch remote outlet too close to the bull bar

I installed a new bumper with an overrider and the smittybilt x20 winch. I had to put the control box on the winch to the left as there no room for the cables in front of the grill. The outlet for the remote is too close to the overrider bar to allow plugging in. Anyone have a fix for this besides moving the entire control box? The remains wireless but I’d like to not have to depend on the remote battery. TIA

I don't have experience with the Smittybilt winch, but from the picture the plug looks to be very similar to a MIDI or XLR cable for music. Maybe check out Guitar Center and see if they have any 90 degree adapters?

That is a 5 pin male XLR connector as far as I can tell. So that link in my last post or something similar should work.
