Energy independence will bring global political independence. Don't need to see EVs running around everywhere, but to the extent we can use renewables the better.

Home solar would be the ultimate setup. In cyber warfare electrical plants would be a huge target to disrupt. It wouldn't do so much to us if each house still was able to run on solar.

You're spot on.......we've seen it happen recently. It won't be the first or last time either.

I've been Moderators and Admins on several GM forums.............I get it, but my comments did not attack anyone; hence the reason I stuck to FACTS....not opinions or emotions.

Again, having worked for the federal government for almost 25 years I know how to communicate.

Clearly someone's idea on political conversations equate of that of so call "Fact Checkers" no real qualifications, but a mushroom stamp complex. I can have a conversation(s) with anyone, color, religion and so on. This is a matter of maturity.....you either have it or not.

Every car I've owned prior to the JT required premium. I figured, "hey I'll save a little cash now that I can run 87"... $3.70/gal here in metro Atlanta today. Maybe we can try begging OPEC for more oil again? Too bad no one foresaw anything like this...........

I'm actually thinking about putting the sport rims/tires back on.... I was easily getting 22mpg beforehand, been getting 16mpg after putting on the rubi takeoffs. And yes, I did change the tire diameter with the tazer mini. Might just use the rubi takeoffs for those couple of offroad trips a and winter....

Gas prices here in va for regular avg $3.85 a gallon, this time in 2020 they averaged $1.85. We all know who to blame!

The Cushing oil reserves have been really low for some time - this is also reflecting that.

At $3.50 gallon, I projected it was cheaper than it had been in the last 50 years.

I estimated to be on par with mid 2000's - mid 2010's prices, gas needs to go to ~$5-6/gallon in the mid-years term. Then $350+ barrel end of decade. (due to incredible inflation coming) - which I think I projected at $10/gallon U.S. by 2030. We'll see if my estimates are right.....

But as Putin knows, oil prices make or break a U.S. Presidency.
