Ive got 2008 1200 nightster that I love. My problem is the small as heck 2gal (ish) tank…i keep looking online but i cant seem to find much out there about swapping out for a larger tank?

any one done this? Or have any suggestions? I don’t want anything massive, just looking to get to 3 or 4 gallons so it doesnt ruin the look at feel of the bike.

I hear ya, I have a little 883 to put around on and seems my group has to always stop for me.

Hit up DK Customs. They either have it, can fab it, or point you in the right direction.

I bought my V&H pipes from them. Best customer service ever!!!

I'm sorry...

lol

I have a Boulevard C90, with a whole whopping 3 gallon tank, which sucks for a cruiser.
Luckily, I'm forced to get off to get fuel often enough that I don't kill my butt!

Based on everything else ive read on this forum, I'd just recommend a Jerry can attached to the molle panels on your Harleys aftermarket roof rack! Concept image attached.

If you have the ability, you can cut the filter and pump section out of your tank, or donor tank, and fit it into the tank of your choice.

I owned a 2008 Sportster Low. That's the tank you want. I always hated that peanut tank!

thanks folks! I keep looking and found a 4 gal tank on Ebay that I sent an offer on. Would be interesting since it will change the lines of the bike.
