DIY front camera Jscan settings?

RCA is good, continuity as expected. Power and ground at the camera.

Swapped pins to 24/25 - still blue screen.

Tested pins outside of the connector, they sit firmly.

Placed back in 21/22 and seated the brick connector firmly. Waiting for the unit to reset to show the settings again.

I've hit a deadend, obviously. Either the pins aren't seating well when plugged in (in the connector) or somehow between last week and this week the camera went bad.

Guess I could order a new camera and bench test it?

Haley - did you ever get your issue resolved? I am stuck with a similar issue that you faced where my pins are in 21/22, my camera has power but the camera will display the front view for about 1-2 mins then go to a blue screen and sometimes when I turn the vehicle on it will only be the blue screen so I get the blue screen most of the time but the camera will display other times briefly. Thanks!

I contacted support and all they told me was to check connections. I have done that. Something weird with continuity with camera RCA connector. Has continuity across poles at times and open at times. I ordered a Natika camera from Amazon. I will try that. It will be here Thursday. I will report back.

Thank you Doane for the response and info! It seems when the vehicle sits overnight and I try the Cargo camera in the morning it will work for about 5 mins then goes to a blue screen. I'll be really curious if the new cam you ordered works. Unfortunately, I haven't received much help from ZAutomotive on this issue but I will give them credit on being responsive. Hope this works for you!

Front Camera now working using original camera from zautomotive. I re-installed the yellow and black plug in the radio connection. It immediately started working.

Thank you for the update! I have been in contact with ZAuto's tech team as they thought both wiring harness I received might be bad. I was able to get video to come on some times before I installed the replacement harness. Still was getting intermittent video so I think the RCA pin connector that comes with the kit is the issue. I'll update the post once I get another connector. Thanks again!
